1. Calories Deficit: Consume a few calories than you burn.  You can lose weight, without doing any exercise and without doing this you will not succeed.

2. Strength Training: The more muscle you gain, the more calories you burn. Strength training is the number one way to build muscle and burn fat.

3. Eat Enough Protein: Take the right intake of protein to support your muscle growth and recover from the strength training. At least 1g of protein per lb is that you want to shoot for if you are in a caloric deficit. You do not need to go as high if you are in maintenance or surplus stage but you want to hit this mark at a minimum if you are restricting calories.

4. Increase NEAT: The energy expended for everything we do that is not sleeping, eating or sports-like exercise. You can do this by doing more daily tasks, like cleaning the house, walking in a lawn, using stairs instead of an elevator etc, take more daily steps than normal.
