Introduction:
Surya Namaskar is a yoga-based exercise for overall body development - BODY, MIND, and SOUL.
Surya Namaskara is a unique exercise, which gives the benefits of Sthula as well as Sukshma Vyayama.
A person from 6 years to 90 years can perform this asana or exercise and this asana benefits kids in their growing age. It enables them to achieve balanced physical growth, healthy and efficient body, balanced state of mind, enhanced work efficiency through concentration, memory development and emotional control.
Surya Namaskar tones up the functioning of various systems in the body, such as the sensory, respiratory, digestive, circulatory, and muscular and nervous systems. The set of 12 Namaskar should be practised at a time, which takes about 15 minutes.
Surya Namaskar practise starts with a prayer to the Surya - The world Nourisher.
